This afternoon at 14:45 Engine & Utility 34 operated at combine on fire in Salem Twp. The crew found a small electrical fire on the motor of the combine and extinguished same. Units out 30 mins.

Early this afternoon, Rescue & Utility 34 operated at a mobile home fire in Bradenville (71 District). The crew assisted with RIT, suppression and overhaul. Units out 2 hours.

At 22:51 crews were alerted for a washing machine fire, with smoke throughout the interior of a townhouse in Salem Twp (90 District). Engine 34 arrived 3rd due and assisted with locating the source and ventilation.

This morning around 7:00, Rescues 34 & 114 handled a motorcycle crash on the Latrobe-Crabtree Road. Crews assisted with patient care, traffic control and debris removal. Units out 2 hours while PSP investigated.

At 20:15 Crabtree Volunteers along with our surrounding departments operated at a House Fire on Roosevelt Way on the Salem Twp side of town. Engine 34 had a 2-story duplex with 50% involvement on arrival, with reports of people trapped.

At 17:10 this afternoon, crews were alerted for a Shed Fire in 77's District. Engine 77 quickly arrived and knocked down the fire, while Engine 34 arrived 2nd due and assisted with overhaul. Units out 50 mins.

This afternoon Rescue 34 operated in 71's District on a fire that consumed a lawn tractor, pickup truck and part of a mobile home. The lawn tractor initially caught fire, and spread to the truck and home.

Rescue 34 operated at this vehicle accident with 1 injured late afternoon on the 4th of July. The crew assisted with patient care and debris removal. Units out 1 hour.

Engine 34 operated at a Mobile Home Fire this 4th of July evening in 71's District. 1st arriving crews found the home fully involved and utilized a defensive attack to knock down the flames while protecting 2 additional homes that were threatened by the fire.

Overnight, area fire crews were alerted to the City of Latrobe for an apartment fire. Engine 34 was assigned to staging with the remainder of the outside companies, while city crews extinguished the fire.

This evening Rescue 34 was alerted as one of the RIT Teams to the city of Greensburg for a House Fire on the northside of town. City crews had a quick knock on the small fire and released the Rescue crew upon arrival.

This morning, Rescue 34 assisted on a fire alarm activation, with a report of smoke coming from a church in 33's District of Unity Twp. Crews checked the building with negative results, finding a bad detector.

At 14:48 Station 34 and surrounding companies were alerted for a Structure Fire with Entrapment on the northside of town. Engine 34 arrived 1st due with fire showing from the front of 2 townhouses and extending into the attic area.

This afternoon, Utility 34 operated at 2 Brush Fires along Route 22, east of New Alexandria. Engine 34 also responded to assist with the water supply, but was not utilized. Units on the scenes: 77, 132, 34.

At 08:36 units from 34 & 77 operated at a natural gas leak in a church in 77's District. Engine & Rescue 34 assisted with air monitoring and ventilation. Units out 1 hour.

At 13:05 units from 34 & 114 operated at a Brush Fire off of Twin Lakes Road (114 District). Crews extinguished the fire and overhauled the area to prevent a flareup. Units out 50 mins.

The past 2 days, the department has been busy running many weather-related crashes and stuck vehicles. In total, crews handled 6 incidents, all minor with no injuries reported.

This evening at 18:00 Rescue 34 assisted city companies with fire in a 3-story multi-family dwelling on the north side of town. The rescue crew, along with Rescue 104, operated as the RIT companies throughout the incident.

Overnight crews were sent to a Vehicle Fire Endangering a House in the Salemville section of 90's District. Chief 77 arrived to find a full-size pickup truck burning, approx 5 ft from the garage of the residence.

This morning at 11:39 Engine & Utility 34 operated at a fire in a 10-unit apartment building on the northside of the city. Latrobe(113) units arrived to find fire on the 2nd floor in a middle of the group apartment, that was threatening to extend across the roof line & common attic.
