Unity Cemetery Road Crash

Friday, February 6, 2009…At 0910 Rescue 34, along with 114 (Lloydsville) & Rescue 113 (Latrobe), were dispatched to Unity Cemetery Rd (114 District) for the Vehicle Accident. The Rescue crew arrived and assisted with traffic control, fluid spill containment and debris removal.

MVA Dowtown Crabtree

January 25, 2009... At 15:52 Sunday afternoon, Rescue 34 was dispatched to a vehicle accident, no injuries on Rt. 119 in the village of Crabtree. After a brief but strong snow squall the roads became snow covered causing on vehicle to strike an outside retaining wall.

Annual CPR/AED Refresher

Sunday..January 27. At 9:30am the members of the Crabtree Fire Dept. got up bright and early for the annual CPR/ED refresher course. This included 21 members of the CVFD and 11 other personnel from other Depts including New Alex, and Lloydsville Fire Depts.

EMT Vehicle Rescue Class Held At Station 34

Monday, December 15, 2008…The current Mutual Aid Ambulance EMT class spent the evening in Crabtree as part of their Vehicle Rescue & Patient Extrication training. Crabtree crews assisted the instructors & students with several rescue/extrication scenarios.
