Rescue 34 operated at a 2-Alarm fire this afternoon in the City of Greensburg. Crews had a large, 3-story apartment building, with fire on the 2nd & 3rd floor and attic. The Rescue crew initially assisted with RIT & throwing ladders, was then assigned exterior suppression on Side A, before moving interior on floor #2 with suppression and opening up. Units out almost 3 hours.
Overnight, Rescue 34 operated as the RIT company at a Structure Fire in SW Gbg Boro. Crews had fire in an apartment over a row of garages. The Rescue crew also supplied scene lighting and power. Units out 1.5 hours.

At 18:15 Rescue 34 responded to the Route 22/ Route 119 intersection on a 2-Vehicle Accident involving a passenger vehicle & tractor trailer. Crews extricated the operator of the passenger vehicle by removing 2 doors and 2 posts. The tractor trailer travelled 100 feet over an embankment into a creek.
