More Severe Weather, Unity Township

Late afternoon into the evening hours, Utility 34 assisted over in the Youngstown, Whitney & Hostetter areas of Unity Twp, 39’s District, on multiple flooding incidents.  The area saw upwards of 6 inches of rainfall in a short period of time causing severe flash flooding in those areas.  The crew was out for 3 hours, returning to assess the flooding situation in the Greater Crabtree area that saw almost as much rainfall.
